Divisional Breakdown: AFC EAST

Good day Sports Fans !!!!!

The NFL Season is upon us & Man O’ Man I can’t wait !!!! There’s been a lot of changes around the league over the summer, so lets get into it !!!! Each Week until the start of the season, we will assess and discuss each division and conference.

This week, let’s begin with the AFC East !!!

AFC East:

• NY Jets: The Jets have made some serious changes this offseason …. They’ve fired their Head Coach (Rex Ryan) and GM (John Idzik) added Todd Bowles and a slew of new staff members. I like the offseason additions the Jets have made. Signing Brandon Marshall (Bears) to add some much needed depth to their WR Corp. (Erin Decker, Added some depth to their RB Corp as well by signing Steven Ridley (Patriots). A couple of things do concern me with the Jets…. Health. Can their Defense hold tight and can their team in general remain healthy as they may not have much depth. Getting Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie back on the roster was “BIG”!!!! Their Defense is Strong, but Health will be their demise, also  Can and Will it transition into Team Chemistry and Wins !!!! QB is also a question mark when it comes to the Jets. Can and Will Geno get it done.

• Buffalo Bills: The Bills have had an active offseason as well. New Coach Rex Ryan. Rex should definitely bring some much needed Fire, Intensity & passion back into this franchise. Rex Ryan will have this Defense clicking on all cylinders, along with some player additions as well. Some very Good Player acquisitions. LeSean “Shady” McCoy (Eagles), Percy Harvin (Jets), however their QB situation hasn’t been squared away yet and this will hurt them throughout the season.

• Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins have definitely upgraded on Defense by adding Ndamukong Suh to play opposite Cameron Wake, Deadly !!!!. Tannehill had a productive season last year, however does he have enough weapons Offensively. With the addition of Cameron Jordan (TE), Kenny Stills (WR) and Greg Jennings (WR) be enough !?!?

• New England Patriots: So we all know about the “Deflate Gate” scandal and at this point in time, “Who Cares”  !?!? We’re talking about Tom Brady, Bill Belicheck and the Superbowl Champs. An organization that gets it done by any means necessary. Now, I do see some holes within the roster. Can their Defense still maintain a stout reputation by losing Revis ?!? Their secondary is looking a little thin, I’m quite sure Coach will input players that will make a difference. This is what the Patriots do !!!! Time will tell though especially if they go 0-4 while Brady is out, with the additions the other teams made, can they recover !?!?
